Dancing Around The Maypole

After raising the maypole in the morning, the Midsummer celebration started that afternoon. A big part of the celebration is music and dancing around the maypole. Små grodorna (Swedish for "The Little Frogs") is a traditional Swedish dance and song traditionally performed at midsummer.

There was a pretty good size crowd, both kids and adults.

Here are the performers for the music. Is that Roxanne on the right?

Close, but unfortunately Roxanne forgot her traditional Swedish outfit, plus she did not understand the lyrics.

After the dancing they had some kids games.
