Arrived in Sweden

Our flight to Copenhagen went fine and we quickly rented a car and drove over the Oresund bridge to Sweden. Our first stop was in Malmo to get an inexpensive prepaid cell phone and a sim card that lets us access the internet with our iPad. Roxanne drove and Mike navigated. We stopped twice during our three hour drive to Gothenburg - sandwich and coffee.

Once we arrived in Gothenburg we parked our car at the ferry parking lot. We purchased 3 day transportation passes, good for the ferry and trams. Gorgeous 20 minute ferry ride to the island Styrso. It was a bit of a hike to the house with our backpacks, but well worth it.

After a glass of wine at the house we decided to have dinner in Gothenburg. We took the ferry and a tram to downtown and found a great Swedish restaurant, Smaka. Check out the photos to see the menu and what we had. We are headed back to the house now. It is 10:25 PM here and the sun is just setting. Time to relax and catch up on our sleep.
